CGC series large power marine gearbox can realize the function of astern-ahead, clutch-in and clutch-out and speed reduction. They are widely used in the FPP systems driven by the non-reversible medium speed diesel engines. The gearboxes are designed as single or double geared drive and the input and output shafts can be arranged coaxially or with horizontal or vertical or diagonal offsets. The compact CGC reversible gears cover a power transmission range from 0.25 to 20 kW/rpm reduction ratio 2-6, and input speed 400-1800rpm. Gears are made of  premium low-carbon alloy steel, after carburizing and quenching treatment, gear grinding and  teeth modification processes, quality of Grade 5 of ISO1328-1：1995 is obtainable.
